I have to admit that I was never much of a fan of spiders, especially as they have a tendency to creep up on you in the shower. But since I have been learning more about them, I have a newfound appreciation for the little eight-legged critters. So when – out of nowhere! – a spidery creature came running across my desk, I did not get up and scream… instead, I was delighted to see that she was completely green (my insectclopedia tells me she might be a wolf spider) and in a hell of a hurry, not unlike the tardy rabbit in Alice in Wonderland.
