Strolling along the beach, my feet just submerged in the water, I came upon a rather large rock. It caught my eye, cause you don’t see too many of those. Intrigued, I bend down and touched it. To my surprise it moved slightly. It wasn’t a rock… but a crab covered in barnacles, hiding underneath the sand! Out came her six legs, as she scurried sideways towards the sea. I marveled at the sight and wondered what’s it like to live laterally.
